Meet Our Team
Dr Aneta – Captain of the boat’
Dr Aneta Mioduszewska – GDC 85274 Qualification: Lek Stom Lodz 2001
I’m Aneta – Principal Dentist here at Charming Smiles and, according to some of our patients, the person responsible for more confidence boosts than any life coach ever could.
With over 25 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my career to transforming not just smiles, but lives — one carefully crafted restoration at a time. I specialise in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including composite bonding, veneers, orthodontics, and endodontics — always delivered with a gentle touch and a strong espresso (off the record, of course).
At Charming Smiles, I’ve created a space where patients feel safe, heard, and cared for — not just treated. My approach is all about calm confidence, clear communication, and building trust, especially for those who haven’t had the easiest dental journeys.
I am a strong believer in continuous development, both for myself and for the next generation of dentists. That’s why I actively support NHS foundation dentists, helping newly qualified clinicians grow into skilled, compassionate professionals.
My academic roots? Top student at dental school — but the real learning never stopped. I stay sharp by keeping up with cutting-edge technologies and techniques, blending science and artistry in every smile I design.
Outside the practice, I trade drills for dumbbells, patient notes for hiking boots, and swap the sound of the scaler for the breeze over the Greek Islands — my go-to escape for recharging, reflecting, and catching the occasional gust of wind in the sails.
Together with my husband Adam (our very own beekeeper-in-chief), we raise three amazing kids — and yes, they definitely know how to keep us on our toes.

Anita
Dr Anita Ghei – Dentist & Calm Navigator of Complex Cases
Dr Anita Ghei – GDC 277245 Qualification: BDS University of Central Lancashire 2018
Dr Ghei isn’t just a dentist, she’s a force of focus, precision, and kindness wrapped in a lab coat. After first graduating with honours in Biomedical Materials Science from the University of Birmingham in 2013 (and casually earning the top exam results in her year), she went on to qualify as a dentist at UCLan in 2018 and also has a masters in public health because one impressive degree just wasn’t enough.
Landing in the top 10% of candidates for vocational training, she completed her first year in Derby, then dived deeper into the world of Restorative Dentistry, Special Care, and Maxillofacial Surgery. In other words: she’s the kind of dentist you want on your side when things get tricky. Root canals? Prosthodontics? Complex surgical work under hospital pressure? She’s done it all, and with steady hands and a reassuring smile.
Anita has a gift for helping anxious patients find their courage, gently guiding them from “nervous wreck” to “confident smiler.” Whether it’s a first visit or a final treatment, she’s in it with you every step of the way.
Outside of the clinic, Anita swaps dental drills for dinner dates, she’s a true foodie, always up for discovering new cuisines. She’s also big on family time, loyal to her friends, and proud to be part of the unofficial Dental Premier League, cheering passionately from the sidelines as a devoted football fan.
Dr Liza – Dentist & Award-Winning Calm Creator
Dr Lizaveta Chudakova – GDC -309353 Qualification: BDS University of Sheffield 2023
Dr Liza isn’t just committed to patient care — she was literally awarded for it. After graduating from the University of Sheffield, she received the Practitioners Club Prize for her exceptional conduct with patients. (We assume they wanted to give her two prizes, but thought that might be too obvious.)
She delivers a full range of NHS and private treatments, always with a strong focus on prevention and minimally invasive care — because sometimes, less is more (especially when it comes to dental drills).
Liza’s superpower is making people feel comfortable, informed, and in control — even if they arrived clutching the armrests. Her calm, friendly energy turns dental visits from a chore into something almost… pleasant? (We know, bold claim. But ask her patients.)
Outside the clinic, she’s either hiking up a hill, planning her next trip, or being lovingly followed by her dog — who firmly believes walks are a full-time job. A balanced weekend keeps her happy, grounded, and ready to smile through any Monday.
Liza
Hana
Dr Hana Abouzeid – Dentist & Anxiety Whisperer
Dr Hana Hisham Abouzeid – GDC 318493 Qualification: BChD University of Leeds 2024
If dentistry were a superpower, Dr Hana would be flying high as the calm, confident hero we all need in the chair. Known for her approachable nature and reassuring presence, she’s the dentist who turns nervous glances into relieved smiles — often before the treatment even begins.
Trained at The Leeds Dental Institute and polished to brilliance during her foundation year right here at Charming Smiles, Hana brings both NHS and private dental experience to the table — or, more accurately, to the dental chair. Whether it’s a routine check-up, a cosmetic enhancement, or something a little more surgical, she delivers it all with a steady hand and a patient-first mindset.
She’s particularly drawn to oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry, and is actively sharpening her skills through further implant training — because in Hana’s world, there’s always room to grow (and to glow).
Outside the clinic, Hana transforms into a powerhouse of energy at the gym — but don’t let the protein shaker fool you. She balances her reps with recipes and proudly admits she trains hard just so she can eat harder. We call that admirable life balance. She calls it dinner.
Dr Ansar – Restorative Dentist & Master of Calm Precision
Dr Ansar Matloob – GDC 114249 Qualification: BDS University of Sheffield 2007
Since qualifying from the University of Sheffield in 2007, Dr Ansar has seen (and fixed) just about everything dentistry can throw at you. From general practices to emergency services, he’s gained a wealth of experience, and not a single dental drama has fazed him yet.
He offers a full range of dental treatments, always with a focus on collaboration. For Ansar, dentistry isn’t something that happens to you — it’s something you’re part of. He involves every patient in their treatment journey, ensuring that the care is not only top-notch but tailored to the individual, every time.
His true passion lies in restorative dentistry — turning the damaged into the dazzling. He’s committed to staying at the cutting edge (pun intended) by attending regular postgraduate training. He even completed a year-long programme in Contemporary Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at the prestigious Dominic Hassall Training Institute — because good enough simply isn’t good enough.
When he’s not perfecting smiles, Ansar keeps active through general sports, fitness, and chasing after his young family — which, he assures us, burns more calories than any gym session.
Ansar
Mo
Dr Mo – Dentist, Bioclear Buff & Certified Smile Ninja
Dr Mohammed Binyamin Haider – GDC 296382 Qualification: BDS University of Birmingham
2021
Dr Mo joined Charming Smiles with a degree from the University of Birmingham and a black belt in Taekwondo — because clearly, dentistry alone wasn’t challenging enough. (Yes, second dan. Yes, we’re all slightly more polite around him.)
He’s not just good with his hands in the clinic — give him a football or a piano and he’ll happily switch from clinical precision to freestyle creativity. But dentistry remains his true craft, and he brings passion, skill, and calm focus to every appointment.
Mo is a certified Bioclear Practitioner, having completed the Bioclear Anterior Composite course — which means he’s not only up to date with modern restorative techniques, but genuinely excited about making your teeth look and feel their best.
He has a particular gift for working with anxious patients, helping turn fear into familiarity. His approach? Listen, explain, empower — and never rush. The goal is simple: give people the tools and confidence to take control of their dental health, one calm breath at a time.
Just don’t ask him to play the piano and do your composite at the same time. (Yet.)
Dr Deepak – Dentist & Craftsman of Confident Smiles
Dr Deepak Singh – GDC 264315 Qualification: BDS University of Glasgow 2016
Some people grow up wanting to be astronauts. Deepak? He was more into glue, screws, and tiny plastic parts. Whether it was DIY with his dad or building intricate Airfix models, he always knew he was destined for a hands-on career, preferably one involving precision tools and a good eye for detail. Dentistry? Perfect match.
Today, he’s living the dream, combining technical finesse with a warm heart and a genuine desire to help others. Deepak isn’t just here to fix teeth; he’s here to build trust, reduce fear, and restore confidence, one smile at a time.
With a naturally friendly and caring personality, he has that rare ability to make even the most nervous patients feel at ease. And when he’s not creating healthy, happy smiles, he’s likely planning his next DIY project (or secretly wondering if teeth and model airplanes have more in common than people think).
For Deepak, dentistry isn’t just a job — it’s a craft, a calling, and a daily opportunity to make someone’s day better.
Deepak
Robert
Dr Robert Stecewicz – Visiting Implantologist, Smile Strategist & History Buff
Dr Robert Stecewicz – GDC 100646 Qualification: Lek Stom Lodz 2001
Dr Robert Stecewicz brings more than just experience to the surgery — he brings depth, precision, and a lifetime of dedication to the craft of dentistry. After graduating from the Medical University of Łódź in 2001 (yes, 2001 — someone needs to have been doing this longer than TikTok’s existed), he began practising both in Poland and the UK, joining the NHS in 2005 and never looking back.
His clinical interests span general, cosmetic, and aesthetic dentistry, but his true passion lies in implantology and restorative work. He’s completed numerous advanced courses, including hands-on cosmetic training with the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies (CCADS), restorative programs with BARD, and a full year-long implantology course with CADE. In 2024, he added an MSc in Dental Implantology from Edge Hill University to his already impressive credentials — because why stop learning when you can keep perfecting?
Dr Stecewicz is also the former president of The Polish Academy of Restorative Dentistry, which is just a fancy way of saying: he knows his stuff, and he’s helped others know it too.
Currently, he splits his time between his own practice in St Helens and visiting us at Charming Smiles, where he provides implant treatments with steady hands, calm professionalism, and a quiet smile that says, “You’re in very good hands.”
When not placing implants or restoring smiles, you’ll find Robert spending quality time with his family — or deep-diving into World War II history and martial arts. Because every great clinician needs a few sharp skills outside the clinic too.
Adam – The Beekeeper (a.k.a. The Guy Who Runs This Place Without a Drill in Hand)
Hey everyone, I’m Adam — the beekeeper behind Charming Smiles.
Running this dental practice? It’s a bit like managing a hive full of slightly frazzled, sugar-deprived bees. There’s constant buzzing, occasional stings, and a whole lot of sweet chaos. I don’t drill, fill, or floss — but I do keep the swarm flying in formation.
We’ve got two main colonies here. Hive A: our patients — loyal to their own fizzy-drink-fuelled traditions, arriving with varying degrees of sweetness and sting. Then there’s Hive B: our dentists — hyper-precise, clinically wired, and firmly convinced every molar must be charted, scanned, and coated in fluoride.
Getting Hive A and Hive B to work together? That’s my job. It’s like trying to blend honey with vinegar — technically possible, but don’t be surprised if there’s some buzzing.
Patients arrive expecting warm wax combs and calming lavender mist. Dentists greet them with sterile tools and ultrasonic scalers. Meanwhile, everyone’s buzzing about “bedside manner” and “the drill’s wrong vibration frequency.”
Then there’s the appointment calendar — a battle of hive minds. Patients want late evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Dentists want efficient slots, no delays, and time for their post-op pollen smoothies. Scheduling? A dance of wings, wishes, and white coats.
Enter our dental nurses — the unsung foragers of the practice. They anticipate every need, calm every trembling wing, and somehow sterilize tools while translating between dental jargon and buzzing nerves. They’re the golden bridge between hive logic and human emotion.
And don’t forget our reception team — true guard bees of the hive. They protect the schedule like it’s royal jelly, decode patient waggle-dances, and fill every gap in the calendar before anyone even notices it’s there. They do more with a phone call than most people do with a wand.
Despite the pollen storms, odd allergies, and the occasional patient attempting DIY dentistry with superglue (yes, really), we keep humming. Because when Hive A and Hive B learn to fly in sync — thanks to the magic of teamwork — there’s no sting we can’t handle.
And at the end of the day, when the combs are clean and the last bee buzzes home, I look around and smile. We made something sweet. Together.
Outside the hive, I am happily married to my queen bee Aneta, and we have three wonderful kids — and yes, we really do make honey together.
Adam
Sophie
Sophie – Practice Manager, Reception Ray of Sunshine & Dental Dynamo
Sophie Eve Hufton – GDC – 269751Qualification: NEBDN 2017
Meet Sophie – the heart, head, and friendly voice of Charming Smiles. With over a decade of experience in dentistry and a qualification as a dental nurse since 2017, she’s seen it all, handled it all, and still manages to greet every patient like they’re her favourite person of the day (because secretly, they might be).
She holds post-qualifications in Dental Radiography and Oral Health Education, which means she’s not just running the show – she knows what’s happening in every chair, every X-ray, and every hallway. From streamlining workflows to soothing nerves, she’s dedicated to making both patients and team members feel supported and cared for.
You’ll usually find Sophie at reception, where she’s not just managing the practice — she’s managing to have a proper chat while doing it. Got a funny story, a dental question, or a great recommendation for toddler-friendly adventures? She’s all ears.
Speaking of toddlers — Sophie is also the proud mum of Noah, her three-year-old bundle of joy and the unofficial mascot of every weekend plan. Together they’re always on the hunt for new places to explore, snacks to try, and parks to conquer. When she’s not chasing after Noah or solving practice puzzles, she’s curled up catching up on her favourite TV series (with a well-deserved cup of tea, we hope).
Her mission? To make every visit feel smooth, stress-free, and just that little bit brighter — and if you leave smiling before the dentist even sees you, chances are it’s Sophie’s doing.
Alex – Head Dental Nurse & Implant Coordinator
Aleksandra Magdalena Sedkowska GDC 269250 Qualification: NEBDN 2017
Qualified as a dental nurse since 2017, Alex is the calm in the clinic storm and the mastermind behind our smooth operations. As Head Dental Nurse and Implant Coordinator, she keeps everything running like clockwork from radiography and surgical prep to managing schedules, equipment, dentists, and (occasionally) even the weather. With her expertise in dental radiography, our patients can rest assured their x-rays are in expert hands, even if the machine’s having a bad day.
Alex is not only committed to clinical excellence but also to creating a warm, welcoming environment for patients and a collaborative spirit among the team. She brings focus, positivity, and the kind of efficiency that makes Swiss watches look lazy.
Outside the clinic, she swaps her scrubs for hiking boots or a cycling helmet. Weekends usually find her on a woodland trail, dog by her side and wind in her hair. Staying active and connected with nature is her personal recharge ritual, one that fuels her dedication and focus at work.
Always learning and never afraid of a challenge (especially ones that start with “Would it be possible to…”), Alex is the quiet force behind everything that works smoothly around here.
Alex
Gosia
Gosia – Senior Dental Nurse and expert in stock management
Malgorzata Jolanta Nowak – GDC 263452 Qualification: NEBDN 2016
Gosia has been part of our practice for several years now, and if you’ve ever left your appointment feeling surprisingly calm — chances are, she had something to do with it. With a quiet confidence and a kind presence, Gosia brings more than just clinical skill to the chair — she brings reassurance.
She genuinely loves what she does, and it shows. For her, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a nervous patient begin to relax and realise: “Okay… this isn’t so bad after all.” That moment of transformation is her favourite part of the job — and she’s helped create it more times than we can count.
Whether she’s assisting with treatments or simply offering a calming smile, Gosia is the kind of person who makes things feel just a little easier.
When she’s off-duty, you’ll find her with a book in one hand and a lead in the other — exploring the great outdoors with her dog, Milo, who (we’re told) is only slightly more energetic than most of our dentists.
Ania – Senior Dental Nurse, FD Assistant & Keeper of Calm in the Chaos
Anna Marie Blasiak – GDC 301460 Qualification: NEBDN 2022
Ania qualified as a dental nurse in 2022 and has been a ray of calm confidence ever since. With a passion for exceptional dental care and an instinct for knowing exactly what a patient (or dentist!) needs before they even ask, she’s the kind of team member every clinic dreams of.
She’s skilled in assisting with a wide range of procedures, from routine check-ups to more complex treatments — all while ensuring patients stay comfortable, relaxed, and blissfully unaware of just how many instruments she’s already handed over with surgical precision. Ania is also our in-house champion of hygiene and sterility: if something shines, sparkles, or smells disinfected, odds are she’s behind it.
She believes that promoting oral health is more than just leaflets and lectures — it’s about kindness, reassurance, and making sure every patient leaves feeling just a little more confident (and hopefully flossing regularly).
Outside of work, Ania is powered by love, laughter, and probably a strong coffee. She enjoys family time with her husband and two children and, whenever possible, squeezes in time with friends — because even supermums need a social life.
Ania
Holly
Holly – Senior Dental Nurse, FD Assistant, Reception Star & Comfort Creator
Holly Rose Hall – GDC -277162 Qualification: Level 3 QCF City & Guilds 2018
Since joining Charming Smiles in 2018 (and dental nursing back in 2013), Holly has become one of those rare people who somehow manage to be everywhere at once — whether she’s welcoming you with a warm smile at reception or quietly assisting in surgery like the unsung hero she is.
She works closely with our foundation dentist, but her true superpower is putting anxious patients at ease. Whether it’s a reassuring phone call, a calming presence chairside, or simply being a friendly face in the room, Holly helps turn dental dread into dental “hey, that wasn’t so bad!” moments.
She thrives on creating a positive, caring environment — and for many patients, she’s the first (and best) step in a calmer dental journey.
Outside the practice, Holly swaps scrubs for sunglasses and dental tools for tongs. Together with her husband, two children, and their charming French Bulldog, Peppa, she’s usually out exploring, hosting BBQs, playing rounders, or making the most of family life — one picnic at a time.
Monika – Senior Dental Nurse, Compliance Queen & Calm Under Pressure
Monika Piotrowska – GDC – 215060 Qualification: NEBDN 2010
Monika qualified as a dental nurse in 2010 and has been deep in the world of dentistry ever since — no breaks, no detours, just years of hands-on experience in both general and specialist treatments, including orthodontics and implant placements. If you’ve got a complex case, chances are she’s already assisted with five just like it — and made it look easy.
She joined the Charming Smiles team in 2021 and immediately became one of those people you want on your shift: reliable, skilled, and always up for a challenge (especially if there’s learning involved). Passionate about expanding her knowledge, Monika is the type who actually enjoys CPD. Yes, really.
Beyond her clinical expertise, she also wears a second (unofficial) crown — that of compliance lead. With previous management experience, she’s the one making sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and by the book — but somehow without ever making it feel like paperwork.
Outside of work, Monika balances the precision of dentistry with creativity: she plays piano, escapes to the mountains for long walks, gets lost in books, and captures life through her camera lens — proving that yes, detail-oriented people can also have artistic souls.
Monika
Leeanda
Leeanda – Senior Dental Nurse & Smiles Specialist (Yes, Literally)
Leeanda Sarah Wood – GDC- 248062 Qualification: Level 3 QCF City & Guilds 2013
Leeanda began her dental journey in 2011, and from day one she’s been on a mission to make every visit to the clinic a little less stressful — and a lot more human. With a warm smile that rarely takes a break and a personality that instantly puts people at ease, she’s become a quiet expert in turning dental nerves into patient trust.
She has a true passion for patient care and a particular love for assisting in implant procedures, where precision meets people — a perfect match for someone who’s both skilled and incredibly thoughtful.
Leeanda is especially gifted at supporting anxious patients, offering calm, confidence, and a listening ear when it’s needed most. If you’ve ever walked through our doors and immediately felt a little better — chances are, she was nearby.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her enjoying life’s simpler joys: meals out with friends, cosy evenings at the cinema, long walks, or getting completely absorbed in a great book. She’s the kind of person who recharges through connection — and it shows in the care she gives every day.
Ewa – Dental Nurse & Clinic’s Friendly Force of Calm
Ewa Gawinecka – Trainee Dental Nurse
Ewa may be new to the world of dentistry, but don’t let the “trainee” label fool you — she’s already an essential part of the team. With a background in customer service and communication, she has a natural gift for making patients feel safe, seen, and supported (often before they’ve even sat in the chair).
For the past year, she’s been steadily building her dental skills, assisting with treatments, mastering the art of infection control, and making sure everything runs as smoothly and hygienically as a Swiss operating room. She’s the kind of person who always notices the small things, which makes a big difference when you’re nervous about your appointment.
Her warmth and attentiveness make her a favourite among patients and a quietly powerful presence behind the scenes. Ewa’s learning fast, helping even faster, and always keeping the team (and instruments!) ready for action.
When the clinic lights go off, she returns to her most cherished role — full-time mum to two amazing kids. Family time is where she recharges, laughs the most, and gathers the calm energy she brings into work each day.
Ewa
Simran
Simran – Foundation Dentist
Dr Simran Sandhu – GDC 329122 Qualification: BDS University of Manchester 2025
Hello, my name is Simran, and I am a Foundation Dentist at Charming Smiles. I have a strong interest in maintaining an active lifestyle and enjoy going to the gym, as well as watching sports such as UFC. It is a real privilege to use the skills I developed at university to make a positive difference to my patients’ dental health. My aim is to help every patient leave the practice feeling comfortable, confident, and proud of their warm, charming smile.
